The Boroughs - Think Stranger Things crossed with Cocoon with a smidge of 80s Spielberg Sci-Fi. Eight episodes but should have been six. An enjoyable but sadly forgettable watch that was not renewed for season 2. Also the nod to Thelma & Louise was great.
Project Hail Mary - I haven’t read the book yet but I did enjoy The Martian (both the movie and book). So I was going in cold on this one and it was A LOT OF FUN. And I didn’t realize it was Chris Miller & Phil Lord directing it too (21 Jump Street, The Lego Movie, Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse). Highly recommended.
Clarkson’s Farm Season 5 - As a huge Top Gear / Grand Tour fan I do like watching anything the hosts product - Richard Hammond’s Workshop, James May’s: Oh Cook & Our Man In Italy, but Clarkson’s Farm is the best of the bunch. As you know I have an agrarian bias but the cast of characters and trials and tribulations they endure makes for great viewing.
