Metro Vancouver is currently $1,142,100


(August: $1,150,400 / July: $1,165,300 / June: $1,173,100 /

This represents a 4.4% decrease compared to September 2024

and a 0.9% decrease over August 2025.

We’re back to Summer 2022 rates!


The Bank of Canada met on September 17th and lowered the rate by .25% - sighting the need to stimulate a weakened economy, easing inflation, and a soft job market.  

Key interest rate sits at 2.50% (This time last year it was at 4.25%)

Next Meeting is October 29th then December 10th.

Now I’m not saying you shouldn’t pay for good journalism - given the amount of AI slop that is accumulating there’s value in real writing.


BUT let’s just say you got interested by a headline and don’t have time to sign up / subscribe, pay for access to read an article.


Simple! - grab the URL of the webpage you are trying to read and head on over to the Internet Archive! Pop that address into the lower section and you’ll get access!

From blocked out to clear sailing!


Also if you really want to read the Atlantic you’re probably already paying for it via your property taxes at the local library - so make sure you head over and download: The Libby App , pop in your library card number and start reading again EH!
